What Information Helps Us Quote Cigarette Smoke Odor Removal?
Start with your city or ZIP code, what you notice and the affected rooms or vehicle. You do not need every measurement ready before contacting Cross Timbers. A few additional details help us understand the work and develop a useful scope.
Describe the affected area
Is the concern one room, several rooms, an entire property or a vehicle interior? Approximate room dimensions, ceiling height and affected materials are helpful when available. Floor area and wall-cleaning area are different quantities: a room’s floor measurement does not establish how much wall surface needs washing. We can discuss measurements as the inquiry develops.
Explain the known history
Share whether smoking was occasional or ongoing, how long the smell has been present and whether the source has stopped. Identify what you know firsthand and what you have been told. For a shared building, mention whether the concern may involve recurring incoming smoke rather than only residue from a previous occupant.
List cleaning, painting and treatment already tried
Tell us which surfaces and furnishings were cleaned, what products were used and whether anything was painted, sealed, removed or replaced. Include previous odor treatments when known. This history helps us avoid assuming the property is starting from an untreated condition.
Send photographs of relevant conditions
Useful photos include a wider room view, visible staining or residue, affected furnishings and material details. Photos document the condition and layout; describe the odor separately in your message. Leave out faces, tenant information and other personal details. We may need an on-site assessment to confirm conditions that photographs cannot show.
Tell us about access and the work schedule
Let us know whether the property is vacant or occupied, who can provide access and whether painters, cleaners or flooring contractors are scheduled. Share your requested completion date. We review availability and treatment requirements before confirming a service window. Regular cleaning must be completed before ozone treatment can begin.
What determines the quoted scope?
The affected surfaces and materials, residue condition, source-cleaning needs, access and selected treatment all influence the work. Some jobs involve one reachable area; others involve multiple rooms or materials needing separate attention. We explain the included work, pricing and agreed arrangements in the quote. Existing customer agreements remain specific to their projects.
